De Vido inaugurated the National Telecommunications Congress

From 10, the Federal Planning Minister will attend the opening ceremony at the Central Post Office, where up to Wednesday 29 will take place this event under the theme "Telecommunications for the XXI century".

I TELAM Federal Planning Minister Julio de Vido, will open on Monday the National Telecommunications Conference, was officially reported.

The opening ceremony will be held today, Monday 27 to 10, on the second floor of the Post Office (Alem 339), where up to Wednesday 29 will be held the conference under the theme "Telecommunications for the XXI century".

The National Telecommunications Congress is organized by federations of cooperatives, trade unions and the main operators in the sector, under the auspices of the Ministry of Communications and the National Communications Commission.

During the event, officials, businessmen and representatives of intermediate institutions seek to "delineate consensus guidelines for telecommunications development, facing the challenges posed by new technological developments", as reported in a statement.

Among the topics to be developed are: the evolution of networks and new telecommunications services and processing and the contribution of the workforce.

It will also address the regulatory challenges for the deployment of new networks as well as compatibility with the needs of access to telecommunications for all segments of society.

In relation to the social role of telecommunications, will assess the implementation of universal service principles and the contribution of the various programs of fixed and mobile operators.

The conference will also consider the contribution of mobile telephony and broadband as a growth and development of the country and the role of the telecommunications industry as an engine to generate skilled employment and social inclusion.

Similarly at the meeting will discuss the impact of telephone cooperatives in regional development and employment generation, and management of new technologies as tools of labor inclusion and contribution to national productivity.
