Cristina travels to Honduras to accompany Zelaya on his return home on Thursday
The president of that country will return to Tegucigalpa after the coup last Sunday. The president of Argentina will be part of the delegation and meet with other leaders of the continent, possibly in a Caribbean country.
President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, Argentina lead the delegation that will accompany the return to Honduras of ousted head of state of that country, Manuel Zelaya.
This was a source of Government House, who also revealed that the President was informed last night with the deposed president, in order to express their solidarity and support.
He added that the Head of State also gave instructions to Foreign Minister Jorge Triana, who is attending the meeting of foreign ministers of member countries of the OAS, which takes place in Washington, considering the situation in Honduras.
Cristina will travel on Thursday to meet with other leaders of the continent, possibly in a Caribbean country.
In addition to the OAS and the United Nations Organization (UN), governments across America expressed strong support for the deposed President of Honduras and made public to restore constitutional order in that country after the coup last Sunday.
In addition, Zelaya was invited today to give a speech to members of the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York, which means an item of great symbolic value in defense of constitutional order in the entire continent.
